Corrosion resistance; plastic buckets can still be used normally after being injected with heat-resistant, anti-freezing and anti-corrosion materials when they are corroded by chemicals such as acid and alkali.
Anti-corrosion test:
Detailed description: When testing its anti-corrosion properties, the plastic bucket is placed in a corrosive chemical such as Valentine-w or Manrope, and the temperature of the corrosive chemical is kept at 75 degrees Celsius and immersed for 48 hours. There should be no cracking, blistering or deformation.
2. Anti-aging:
⑴Material anti-aging should meet the requirements of the following table:
Aging time (h) Change rate of impact strength after artificial aging
6000 ≤40%
⑵Inject high-quality anti-ultraviolet raw materials, color pigment 5%, guarantee 8 years (outdoor) without fading.
3. Hardness test index: ≥65.
4. Heat and cold resistance: Working temperature: -30℃~50℃. Destructive test: -30℃~110℃ (softening temperature).
Detailed description:
The plastic bucket will first be refrigerated at -18°C for up to 12 hours, and then an iron pole with a diameter of 65mm and a weight of 5kg is used to hit the injection point of the plastic trash can three times continuously from a height of 1m. After the test, the barrel body should not be broken or deformed;
High temperature test:
Plastic buckets will be placed in a room for 3 days. The temperature of the room is kept at 90-95 degrees Celsius. After cooling, the surface of the plastic tub should not be damaged, blistered or deformed.
Use raw material moisture absorption below 0.01 to ensure that the box structure will not become brittle or deformed.
Lift dump test:
Detailed description: Put it in the calibration environment for more than 12 hours, add a load of 120 kg, and continuously lift, dump, and put down more than 2,000 times without cracks. And the static test is carried out on the empty and loaded plastic buckets on the inclined surface with an inclination angle of 100, and the plastic buckets do not fall.
UV protection and hardness test:
From the perspective of engineering plastics, the anti-ultraviolet component in the raw material has a great relationship with the hardness of the plastic barrel. In addition, the intensity of UV rays varies in every corner of the world. And in the same location, different colors respond differently to UV light. For example, red buckets will fade faster than other colored buckets. So many times, the UV protection ingredients used in our products in each region will be determined based on our accumulated experience. The plastic buckets are compared under the DIN EN 20105/B02 and EN ISO 8256 standards, using simulation to compare the exposed plastic buckets with the unexposed plastic buckets, the color intensity contrast shall not exceed the value 4. The intensity of the barrel body after exposure should not be 50% less than before exposure. Color can be guaranteed for 5 years without fading
Description of barrel wall thickness:
From the perspective of engineering plastics, the wall thickness of the barrel is not the main reason for determining the toughness of the barrel. The raw materials used, UV protection ingredients, molds and injection molding equipment are all related.
