A jigger is a bartending tool used for measuring and pouring precise amounts of liquid ingredients in cocktails. It typically consists of two small cups or cones of different sizes attached to a straight or hourglass-shaped handle. Each cup or cone represents a different standard measurement, allowing bartenders to accurately measure both large and small quantities of liquids.
The two ends of a jigger usually have different capacities, such as one ounce on one side and a smaller measurement, often 1/2 or 3/4 ounces, on the other side. This dual-sided design provides versatility for creating well-balanced and consistent cocktails.
Jiggers come in various materials, including stainless steel, copper, and plastic. They are an essential tool in the bartender's toolkit and are widely used in the art of mixology to maintain precision in cocktail preparation.
What are advantages of jigger?
Precision Measurement:
The main advantage of jigger is its ability to measure liquid volumes with precision and accuracy. This allows the cocktail to be formulated in a more precise manner, perfectly restoring the flavor of the recipe.
Efficiency:
Jiggers allow for efficient and quick pouring of ingredients without the need for eyeballing or guesswork. This contributes to a smoother and faster workflow behind the bar.
Cost Control:
In commercial settings, using a jigger helps control costs by accurately measuring ingredients. This is important for managing inventory and ensuring profitability.

Professional Appearance:
Using jigger adds professionalism to the bartending process, cocktail preparation, reflecting precision and attention to detail. It helps the bartender and the overall performance of the bar.
Versatility:
jigger usually has multiple measurement markers on each side, providing versatility for different recipes. It helps bartenders handle a wide variety of cocktail styles and ingredient quantities.
Reduced Waste:
jigger's precise measurement scale and spill-prevention function are designed to avoid the waste of expensive or high-quality ingredients. This is especially important to maintain cost effectiveness.

What are the main types of jigger?
Jiggers come in various designs and styles, each catering to different preferences and needs. The main types of jiggers include:

Classic Jigger:
Classic jigger come in many styles, but they are usually shorter and have a larger, flared mouth.

Japanese Jigger:
Characterized by a sleek and elongated shape, the Japanese jigger typically has a larger cone on one side and a smaller cone on the other. It is known for its elegant design and is popular in craft cocktail bars.

Bell Jigger:
The bell jigger features a circular or bell-shaped design at both ends. It's creative in shape, very attractive, and very ergonomic.

Stepped Jigger:

Our Features of Jigger
Durability:
Robust construction: Good workmanship ensures that the jigger is built to last. It includes the use of sturdy materials, reinforced seams, and structures that can withstand regular use in a bar or home environment.
Finishing Touches:
Polishing: Many high quality Jjiggers are polished to add a touch of refinement. The polished surface not only enhances the appearance, but also makes cleaning and maintenance easier.
Functional Features:
Double-Sided Design: Craftsmanship may include thoughtful design features, such as a double-sided jigger with different capacities on each end. This adds versatility to the tool.
Corrosion Resistance:
Quality Materials: Crafted jiggers often use materials that are resistant to corrosion, ensuring the longevity of the tool even with exposure to liquids.

Components of jigger
Handle:
The handle is the central part of the jigger that provides a grip for the user. It is designed for easy handling and precise pouring.
Large Cup or Cone:
One end of the jigger features a larger cup or cone that holds a specific volume of liquid. This end is often used for measuring larger quantities of ingredients.
Small Cup or Cone:
The other end of the jigger has a smaller cup or cone designed to measure smaller volumes of liquid. This side is typically used for more precise measurements.

How to maintain jigger?
Regular Cleaning:
Rinse the jigger with warm water immediately after each use to prevent residue from drying and becoming harder to clean.
Use a mild dish soap and a soft brush or sponge to clean the inside and outside of the jigger.
Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can scratch and damage the surface of the jigger.
Inspect for Residue:
Periodically inspect the jigger for any residual build-up. If you notice any residue, use a specialized barware cleaner or a mixture of water and vinegar to remove it.

Check Measurement Markings:
Regularly check the measurement markings on the jigger to ensure they are clear and legible. Worn or faded markings can affect the accuracy of measurements.
Dry Thoroughly:
After washing, make sure to dry the jigger thoroughly to prevent water spots and corrosion. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe it dry.
Store Properly:
Store the jigger in a dry and cool place to prevent exposure to moisture.

Jigger Production Process
At our factory, each jigger is produced through a careful, multi-step process that combines modern manufacturing with quality craftsmanship.
1. Material Selection
Common materials: Stainless steel (304 or 316 grade)
Food safety, corrosion resistance, and ease of forming and polishing.
2. Cutting and Stamping
Large metal sheets or rolls are cut into blanks (discs) using high-precision cutting machines.
A hydraulic or mechanical stamping press forms the basic cup shape for both ends of the jigger.
3. Deep Drawing & Forming
The cups are then deep-drawn into their final conical shapes through progressive dies.
This process creates uniform thickness and strong, seamless walls.

4. Trimming and Calibrating
Edges are trimmed to ensure smooth, even rims.
Volume is measured and calibrated—some jiggers have internal measuring lines (e.g. 0.5 oz, 0.75 oz).
5. Joining (for double jiggers)
The two ends are welded or press-fitted together at the narrow center.
The joint is polished smooth to ensure durability and comfort in handling.
6. Polishing & Surface Finishing
Several rounds of mechanical polishing are performed to remove marks and create a mirror, matte, or brushed finish.
Optional coatings: PVD (gold, black, rainbow), copper plating, or powder coating.

7. Engraving & Branding
Logos, volume markings, or decorative details are added using laser engraving, stamping, or etching.
8. Quality Control
Rigorous quality checks ensure volume accuracy, finish quality, and structural integrity.
9. Packaging
Packaged in individual boxes or bulk sets depending on client requirements.
